Accountability must address the parts as well as the whole. Who will be responsible for meeting the benchmarks of the timeline? Who is responsible for measuring and reporting results? Diets, however, go back more than 500 years, and we’ve already proved that they don’t actually work. Yes, you lose weight, but about 95% of people who lose weight by dieting will regain it in 2-8 months. Dieting, by definition, is a temporary food plan–it tends to fail in the long run.
