Many people complain that they don’t have time to workout at the gym and stay in shape. They usually consume themselves with parenting, career, schooling, relationships, or a combination of these things. At the most, they might be able to spare about 20 minutes for working out. But the way most workout plans are designed, a person needs to devote between 60 and 90 minutes to exercise in order to see positive results. This is just something that most people cannot afford to do.
In the city of Vaughan, a new boutique fitness studio called “EMS Fitness” has found a solution to this dilemma. They integrate their workout sessions with an innovative technology called electromyostimulation, better known as EMS. When clients come to workout with the trainers at this studio, they first have electrodes placed on certain areas of their skin and body. Then, as the clients start to work out, electrical impulses are transmitted through the electrodes to the skin. This provides extra stimulation to their muscles by causing them to contract more than they normally would. As a result, their bodies burn more fat and build more muscle mass in a shorter amount of time.
“Our clients can get the equivalent of a 90-minute workout in just 20 minutes,” said the key spokesperson of EMS Fitness. “This is perfect for busy people who are constantly on the go and only have a limited amount of time to devote to working out. Now they can get in better physical shape without having to sacrifice too much of their day.”
Aside from its boutique studio in Vaughan, EMS Fitness is planning to open several more studios just like this one in Toronto and Richmond Hill. These studios are not like normal gyms where people go to walk on the treadmill or lift free weights on their own. EMS Fitness operates their facilities like personal training studios. All clients work with personal trainers who guide and motivate them on their workouts every step of the way. Meanwhile, the EMS technology helps these clients push themselves to the limit and train harder within a short amount of time.
As Christmas is approaching, EMS Fitness is introducing special deals to help motivate people to take that first step. “EMS Fitness sends its Christmas greetings to all Ontarians this holiday season,” said one of the company spokesperson. “We hope to help many more people over the coming weeks and months who are determined to make their New Year’s resolutions come true.
